A Short Morning Prayer to Begin Your Day with Gratitude

Heavenly Father,

As I rise to greet this new day, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in my lungs, and the beating of my heart.

Thank You for the light of the morning sun and the promise of new opportunities to walk in Your love.

Lord, I am grateful for the blessings You have poured into my life, both big and small. Thank You for the roof over my head, the food on my table, and the people who bring joy and support to my journey. Help me to never take these blessings for granted.

As I step into this day, guide my steps and guard my heart. Fill me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and Your joy that is unshakable.

Help me to carry a spirit of thankfulness in all that I do, and let my words and actions reflect Your love and grace.

Forgive me for the times I have allowed worry, doubt, or ingratitude to overshadow the blessings You have given me. Teach me to trust in Your plans and lean not on my own understanding, for I know Your ways are higher than mine.

Lord, I pray for wisdom and strength to face whatever lies ahead. Let my heart remain open to Your guidance, and may I see Your hand in every moment of this day.

Help me to be a blessing to others, sharing Your love and kindness with everyone I encounter.

Thank You, Lord, for the beauty of this morning and the opportunity to live another day for Your glory. I place my trust in You and surrender this day into Your hands.
